Recreation Insurance Specialists: Agency Management System

From concept to completion, an advanced web application with unparalleled sophistication and flexibility.

WebRiver has recently completed an advanced web application for Recreation Insurance Specialists (RIS). The RIS Agency Management System provides unparalleled customization and control for RIS in the day-to-day management of insurance customers and their insurance quote requests, quotes, and policy activities.

WebRiver developed the initial functional schematics/wire-frames and application architecture, and then translated that into a smooth and intuitive web design, providing an easy and intelligent user interface.

Our development team then took the schematics and design and built the application. The RIS AMS application is based on a platform of Microsoft .NET (4.0) and Microsoft SQL Server (2012). It is an advanced and modern web application utilizing the latest .NET capabilities and features, customized interactive data grids, CSS3, HTML 5, and jQuery libraries.

The application will be hosted on an internal platform, however it can also be easily hosted in cloud based platforms such as Azure.

Login

Standard login methodology with convenient password reset options.

Dashboard

The Dashboard area provides a quick snap shot of activity. The RIS AMS features multiple login roles such as admin, manager, customer service rep, and sales rep – and the dashboard is tailored to display information for each specific user and role.

Add New Customer & Quote Requests

By clicking the “+” in the upper right you are taken to the Add New Customer screen. Interactive data grids allow us to quickly add customer information as well as multiple quote requests for vehicle, homeowners or personal umbrella insurance policies

Search for Existing Customers

By clicking the magnifying glass icon in the upper right, we can easily access the system search feature to quickly locate existing customers.

Manage Existing Customers

The Existing Customer Record screen provides functionality to update any of the customer information. Additionally, notes can be added to the account along with reminders by date and user. Further, documents can be uploaded and tagged to the account. All documents are stored as BLOBS in MSSQL, eliminating the need to carry documents along in the file system. Finally, a Quick Links toolbar offers fast access to add new quote requests, quotes, and policies.

Existing Customer: Add New Quote Requests

Adding new quote requests to existing customers is done smoothly and efficiently. There is a toolbar on the left which allows us to choose which types of quote requests we need to add to the customer record. The quote request information then flows in from the right of the screen based on what is selected. Interactive data grids accept relevant data, and adding additional data rows is simple and intuitive.

Review Pending Quote Requests, Add Quotes

The Review Pending Quote Requests for specific customers provides a clean view with complete control to update any information available. By Selecting the Add Quote option a new data grid is presented to accept the specific quote information.

Review Quotes, Add Policies

Adding policies to existing quotes offers unmatched flexibility. Options include ability to select transaction types, policy types, policy status, insurance company, and much more.

Policy Activity

The customer policy activity is feature rich, and uses a transactional based metaphor allowing RIS to track all policy transactions by activity history.
